it is critical that the computer forensic process is designed and applied with all due regard to the necessary evidentiary issues. Furthermore, it is of paramount importance that the forensic process be capable of being examined to determine its reasonableness and reliability. For it is only when the forensic process is judged to be reliable and appropriate, that a claim of forensic soundness can truly be made.
